On Wednesday, Sept. 1 the world will endure the greatest thing since noodles: Sliced bread. Nearly all of our restaurant across the country will be serving Sandwich Duos, which are the greatness of Noodles between bread, served with a side soup or salad. We have five different kinds:
–The Med– Chicken, mushrooms, spinach, red bell pepper, cucumber, red onion, our zippy Med dressing, cilantro and feta on flatbread. (spicy)
–The Veggie Med– The Med, but vegetarian
–Spicy Chicken Caesar– Chicken, romaine, field greens, spicy Caesar dressing, wonton strips and parmesan on flatbread (spicy)
–Wisconsin Cheesesteak– Sautéed beef, our Mac & Cheese sauce, cheddar-jack cheese, red onion, red bell pepper and mushrooms on flatbread
–Mmmeatball– Meatballs, our spicy marinara sauce and parmesan on a ciabatta roll

Being fortunate enough to live in the great state of Colorado I’ve already had a sneak preview so maybe this counts as cheating? 🙂 I tried the veggie med first and really liked it but then I added chicken and fell in love- it’s the perfect light summertime meal and an excellent excuse to eat Noodle’s flatbread which I love but usually skip!

The Wisconsin Cheesehead, ah Cheesesteak, is my favorite thus far. They all sound great though. These would be great at a Viking-Packer party. Noodles is one of our favorite restaurants. Good food and always great, friendly service. Thank you!

I wish I could choose. The only one I probably wouldn’t buy would be the vegetarian med, because as much as I like veggies…I like meat.
So, do I have to pick one?
Wisconsin Cheese Steak…gotta give SOMETHING back to those poor Packer fans who are so sad because the VIKES have BRETT!!!

I’ve had the Med already and it was delish! I am intrigued by the Spicy Chicken Caesar – I think the wonton strips would add a nice crunchy texture you would expect from a crouton and the spicy Caesar dressing would seal the deal. Looking forward to lunch tomorrow!

I think that the Spicy Chicken Caesar will be my favorite. Because everything is better with a bit of spice!

I’ve tried the Mmmeatball and The Veggie Med and, while both were excellent, I think The Veggie Med will be my favorite. I choose vegetarian meals often, and am grateful that Noodles & Company offers a wide range of vegetarian options. The Veggie Med is delicious, and the dressing is indeed zippy, living up to its description. With one of the salad choices, it makes a great picnic meal, though I am looking forward to pairing it with soup also!

I must say they all sound delicious!, however, I believe my fave will be the Med. All my favorite things about Mediterranean food-my favorite veggies, chicken, and spice, and of course on flatbread are PERFECT!
So looking forward to it. Sunday we had plans to stop in to use the hubby’s b-day Q, and I already know what I am having!

This is exciting!! I’ve been eating at Noodles w/my kids since 2000…it’s our go-to restaurant that makes everyone happy! I’m betting my favorite sandwich will be The Wisconsin Cheesesteak because the beef at Noodles is INSANELY TENDER and FLAVORFUL, and this will give me an occasional alternative to my Mushroom Stroganoff +braised beef.
