A delicious way to celebrate Heart Disease Awareness Month ♥

Nearly every American family has a member who is at risk for heart disease. According to esciencenews.com and sciencedaily.com, less than 10 percent of Americans are at low risk for heart disease, and according to preventingheartdisease.org heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S.

In honor of February being National Heart Disease Awareness month, we would like to increase heart disease awareness by letting you know some of our popular menu items are Heart Healthy, according to the US Department of Health and Human Services. These dished include:

♥Bangkok Curry (small)

For a heart healthy diet, the US Department of Health and Human Services suggests:

♥ 8-10% of the day’s total calories come from saturated fat

♥ 30% or less of the day’s total calories come from fat

♥ We should consume less than 300 milligrams of dietary cholesterol a day

♥Limit sodium intake to 2400 milligrams a day

♥ Consume just enough calories to achieve or maintain a healthy weight and reduce your blood cholesterol level
